Kathleen turns a variety of objects – everything from large bowls to delicate Christmas ornaments, magic wands to spinning tops, gnomes to spheres...but she's famous for her mastery of piercing.

Her pierced pieces are small vessels turned to 2mm thickness, then pierced with a dental drill. The intricate designs give them a lace-like appearance. 

Kathleen has demonstrated for the AAW symposiums and many other woodturning events around the U.S.
