As a follow on event to the all day demonstration, Tania will give attendees personal instruction in the design and application of cold bend hardwood to a turning of your choice.  Attendees will bring one or more pieces of their work on which to apply the embellishments.  There will be no wood turning in the class, only table top cutting and preparation of the cold bend wood. Cold bend materials will be provided as part of the class cost.

Tania will give you coaching in the art design of your piece, then help with the cutting, sanding, and other preparations of your design to your piece.  Scroll saws will be provided in the classroom for attendee use; approximately two people will share a saw.  If attendees want to bring their own scroll saw or other small motorized tools, such as a Dremel tool, that is encouraged.

Tania is an expert in wood art and has taught these methods at Arrowmont, at the AAW and in other forums.  She is an retired fine arts teacher who now shares her skills and knowledge across the country.
