July Meeting: Tania Radda: Artful Turnings Using Cold Bend Hardwood

  • 06 Jul 2017
  • 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Multnomah Arts Center

Tania Radda comes to us from Scottsdale, AZ to show us a new and increasingly popular method to add an artistic dimension to your pieces.  Cold bend hardwood is a specially prepared material that can be carved, shaped and painted into any shape and added to your work.  She will introduce us to art design principles and how to use this material.  A first time for NWWT.  She will also do an all day demo on the Friday and a hands on class on the Saturday after the July club meeting.

Tania is an expert in wood art and has taught these methods at Arrowmont, at the AAW and in other forums.  She is an retired fine arts teacher who now shares her skills and knowledge across the country.
